Our first archive collection, ‘We Weren’t Expecting to Stay’ documents the lives of British South Asian Muslim from 1940 to the present day. The archive is available at The Bishopsgate Institute and Vestry House Museum. A selection of oral histories, photographs and documents collated for the archive have been used develop many educational resources.
